Training and Consultancy
Rainer is an established provider of training and consultancy services to both the voluntary and statutory sector. Rainer can both develop and adapt programmes according to the identified need of the external provider.

Rainer works closely with external service providers to ensure that the programmes/training meet their needs. Materials can be tailored and new materials developed to better suit the needs of the service. Appropriate Adult Training Manual
This manual was developed to prepare volunteers to undertake the role of the appropriate adult at the police station in line with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. It is an 'off the shelf' resource containing 20 hours of training material based on experiential and participative learning. The manual covers the range of knowledge and skills including:

Mentoring in Context Training Manual
This manual was developed to prepare volunteers for working 1:1 with young people in community settings. It is an 'off the shelf' resource containing 21 hours of training material based on experiential and participative learning. The manual covers the generic knowledge and skills required for the mentoring role including: boundaries, communication skills, case studies and health and safety. In addition, there are context modules relating to young people's settings that can be purchased, these provide a further 9 hours of training each. Currently available are:
