Volunteering for Rainer has opened the doors for me...[it] can be stressful at times but if I can make a difference for one young person then it's worthwhile.

Rainer Chief Executive welcomes plans for resettlement
12 December 2007
Commenting on the launch of the Children's Plan by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, Joyce Moseley, chief executive of youth charity Rainer said:
"The government's announcement of a resettlement Green Paper may not have grabbed the headlines, but it has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of our most vulnerable young people.
"Earlier this year the Rainer-led RESET project published a report showing that young people are being set up to fail as many leave custody without plans in place for things as basic as where they will live or how they will fill their time - a situation that is costing the government more than £80 million a year.
"It is fantastic to see that after two years of Rainer and RESET talking about this pivotal issue the government is finally putting measures in place to address it. We look forward to seeing the Green Paper when it is published in 2008."
